With our extensive knowledge of walking and trekking in the European alps, we offer this 6 night/7 day walking tour in the Alpsteins of Switzerland and the Vorarlbergs of Austria. We take advantage of the mountain chalets high in the alps of these regions to treat our customers to breathtaking scenery, clear mountain air and the unique world of snow and ice above the treeline. The walking is easy and the high ridges are reached by cable cars, gondolas or cog railways. The atmosphere in the alps and life amongst the mountain folk is incredibly unique. Chris leads all these tours of course and with his knowledge and understanding of the mountain dialects, is able to bring you into a world of fun, warmth and friendship with these mountain communities that few tour operators are able to provide. Walks are relatively easy ranging between four and twelve kilometres per day, with optional rest days for customers you would even like to take things a little easier!
Please contact us should you be interested in finding out more about the walking tours. They are run most weeks between early July and late September depending on the level of bookings with the minimum number of walkers being 5 and the maximum, 8.
Walking Tours commence during this period on a Saturday and end on a Friday.
The package price of $1800.00 includes GST, all transport, accommodation and meals as well as passes on cable cars, gondolas and cog railways. There is almost nothing else to spend on these holidays!
There is a single supplement available at an extra $400.00 per person.
